About: 

My teaching and research experience in peace and conflict studies is a motivational reason why I am interested in participating in this year’s International Summer Institute. My practical involvement in civil society and community based peace grouping also drives my desire to pursue this course. The concepts of nonviolence have been developed by the contributions of both Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King. This training has given me some knowledge of their core principles.
