PSY479 Topics in Psychology: “Global Peace and Nonviolence” (3 credits)
Adapted to the international setting of Nepal, the course will provide for 80+ hours of instructional and experiential learning in urban, rural, and remote locations. Includes reflection on the psycho-social and cultural factors that contribute to the adoption and application of peaceful nonviolent processes within context of this post-conflict emerging democracy. Credits can be arranged and individualized for students to conduct independent projects and research related to their own particular interests and disciplines.
