Based on the philosophy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. the Nonviolence Summer Institute brings together national and international participants interested in learning the skills necessary for promoting peace, nonviolence, civil resistance, & social change in their local communities, region, or globally.

History shows that the success of peaceful social transformation depends largely on individuals who are knowledgeable and well-trained in the strategies and methods of nonviolence.

Level II Advanced Trainer Certification in Kingian Nonviolence: Leadership, Organizing, & Mobilizing Options for Attendance: Level I Training of Trainers Certification in Kingian Nonviolence

For International Participants: 21-Day Extended Training and Cultural Education Program Option for J-1 Visa Designed for international participants who wish to complete the 2-week Kingian Nonviolence Level I Certification Training Program, and remain in residence one more week for an extended cultural learning experience.
