The most important takeaway I have learned from this course is to realize while other people are inflicting any form of violence, they, too, are really suffering. I plan to not only use this on myself in how I address people but also teach people the things that have opened up my eyes in order to take the importance of the material in this course and how to relate it to the problems in our world and our personal lives. Regardless how someone may be acting, I realize it is not completely their fault and awareness is the key to connecting and moving forward as a whole.
