Why Not Minor in Nonviolence?

Interested in Nonviolence & Peace Studies as a minor? Join the growing number of URI students who are studying nonviolence and peace in depth. Take only 6 courses amounting to 18 hours across departments and you, too, can have a minor in this most important and relevant area! All employers want to hire people who are skilled at conflict resolution and can solve problems. Shouldn’t this be you?

Wednesday, October 9, was the URI Major/Minor Fair in the Union. There was a lot of interest in nonviolence as hundreds visited our nonviolence booth. We welcome you to come by the Center for Nonviolence & Peace Studies, 2nd floor of the Multicultural Center, and talk to us! We’re happy to answer questions.
