(Level I – 2017)
As an associate professor in the Leadership & Professional Studies Department at Seattle University, I teach two courses: Social Justice for Professional Practice and Multicultural Perspective. In these courses, there is a focus on the American Civil Rights Movement as our case study. This work centers on raising awareness and deepening understanding of issues related to racial and social justice. Throughout my career, spanning several decades, I have worked in many roles intersecting the fields of education, social and human services, and juvenile corrections. Additionally, I am pursuing a diploma in Social Innovation at the University for Peace, Centre for Executive Leadership in Costa Rica.
