Kingston, RI- March 3, 2017- The University of Rhode Island will be hosting Tsepak Rigzin, who will be discussing the significant aspects of peace & nonviolence within Tibetan culture, society, and tradition.
Tsepak Rigzin is a Lecturer & Coordinator for Tibetan Language at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is known for his various works written on the topics of Tibetan culture, Buddhism, education, and language.
There is a lively discussion planned to examine some of the challenges currently being faced by Tibetan people living in diaspora. In addition, he will be discussing some speculated future issues and the difficulties associated with the preservation of peace and nonviolence. Finally, Rigzin will be sharing some his personal experiences to enhance the conversation.
