Joanna Raymond, MS, RD, LDN
Joanna Raymond began her SNAP-Ed career as an undergraduate volunteer in 2010. Through this experience she developed a passion for community nutrition and continued to expand her knowledge and practice in the field as a graduate assistant from 2010-2012. Her research involved a nutrition intervention among middle school students, a group she primarily works with to this day. After passing her Registered Dietitian exam in 2012, she began to work full time as a Research Associate for SNAP-Ed. Joanna loves working with all different groups in the community and finds it especially rewarding when the elementary and middle school aged students she works with start to develop healthy eating and exercise habits as a result of the nutrition education workshops. When Joanna is not working at SNAP-Ed she enjoys taking group exercise classes, running, kayaking, biking or doing anything to be physically active. She also spends a lot of time in the kitchen testing out new recipes!
