URI SNAP-Ed Nutrition Education

At SNAP-Ed we believe all foods can fit into a healthy lifestyle. We also believe everyone should be able to enjoy healthy options on a limited budget. The SNAP-Ed program at the University of Rhode Island is administered through URI’s Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences. We work with community partners and participants throughout the state, spanning our reach from young children through older adults. We focus on making the healthier choice the easier choice where people live, work, shop, play, eat and learn.
