Timi Wallace: A Talent Development Scholar Takes Full Advantage of His URI Experience

Timi Wallace is a senior in the Talent Development Program majoring in Supply Chain Management who has taken full advantage of his time here at the University. Over the summer Timi intered in Wisconsin at Georgia-Pacific, a national manufacturing company; he is both the recipient of the Hedison Family Scholarship Endowment, the American Screw Company Foundation Scholarship and Vethanayaki and Professor Seetharama L. Narasimhan Business Endowment; he holds a IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification; serves as a student leader in the multicultural student group Brothers On a New Direction (BOND) and is a member of Sankofa Campus ministries; serves as a URI 101 mentor for freshmen majoring in business, and spent URI’s J-term in HawaiiFor the full article featured by the URI Foundation, click here.
