TD Nation senior, Anthony Markey is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. As a student finding ways to make ends meet, Anthony, along with his co-founder Laionel Cintron wanted to find a way to make college textbooks more affordable. Collectively they came up with the company Libby which is an online platform that facilitates fair student to student textbook transactions and also helps students find the cheapest prices on textbooks.

When asked why he was interested in starting up this particular company, Anthony said, “I was tired of paying the overly high prices of textbooks. I

saw the insufficiency within the market and took that as an opportunity to build a platform that puts students first.”

In addition to being a accounting major, Anthony also holds a 3.79 GPA; he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society; he interned at PresswaterhouseCoopers and has held many leadership roles on campus. For more information on Anthony and Libby, click here.
