Academic Advising Resources

The Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures offers a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Global Language and Area Studies (GLAS), with three tracks to choose from: Arabic, Classical Studies, or Japanese. This 33-credit major is designed so that it can be completed in as little as two years for students who begin in their junior year – at minimum, it is typically only 9 total courses.
