Agricultural Experiment Station at URI

URI’s Agriculture Experiment Station includes three farms and the greenhouses on campus.  Faculty and students use these facilities to conduct research important to the people of RI and beyond, crop and animal production, environmental resources management, fisheries, and aquaculture, as well as insect and pest management practices.  However, URI’s Agriculture Experiment Station initiatives includes work well beyond our farms.  We are part of a national network of land-grant universities working collaboratively to enhance food security, protect the environment, and strengthen youth and families.
