Student Learning Outcomes

Graduates of the Art Studio program will know and be able to:

• Applies knowledge of artistic materials, processes, and formal visual elements.
• Identify major works of art and architecture and their formal visual properties.
• Analyze cultural and historical contexts in which works of art are made.
• Use effective oral communication skills to interpret and evaluate visual art.
• Demonstrate a technical and conceptual expertise in using materials and methods of at least one media of the visual arts.
