Merlyz Quezada ‘22, a double major in gender and women’s studies and human development and family science, interned at the Providence Preservation Society.
“This internship required a lot of travel for me and without the A&S internship fund it would have been really difficult to get to be able to participate in the full experience,” she says. “There are a lot of barriers that students can face when it comes to internships, so sometimes students have to forfeit a certain opportunity because they do not have the funds to pursue it. The A&S Internship Fund gave me the opportunity to complete my internship without unnecessary hardship.”
