Arts and Sciences Alumni Network

On March 22nd, ten Arts and Sciences alumni returned to campus to facilitate a career workshop for students that provided advice on networking, resume building, interviewing skills, and mapping a career path. A big shout out to Kris Bradner ’94, Landscape Architecture; Michele Caprio ’90, Political Science; Janet Farrell ’07, Communication Studies; Sarah Goodrich ’08, Communication Studies; Hilary Hanners ’12, English; Kristina Petrilli ’07, Art; Stacey Pietrowicz ’02, Philosophy; Kristen Regan ’92, Communication Studies; Richard Rivera ’95, Political Science; Kasey Vivienzio ’02, English. The students overwhelmingly found our alumni’s advice valuable and the workshop a great experience.

Are you interested in giving back to the College of Arts and Sciences like these alumni? We are calling on you to help our students prepare for the world after graduation, as we actively build a community of mentors, supporters, and friends  –  the Arts and Sciences Alumni Network.

For this network, we seek alumni who are interested in sharing their stories and career advice with students, providing contacts for professional networking, helping us grow internship opportunities in Rhode Island, around the country, and across the globe. You can be an invaluable resource for our students.

If you sign up to to join the Arts and Sciences Alumni network, we will reach out to you this summer with information about our upcoming 2019-2020 workshop schedule, which includes online opportunities for students and alumni from across the country to connect.
