Samantha Adams ‘24, a double major in physics and German, interned at the UMASS-URI Gravity Research Consortium.
“One of the biggest highlights of this internship was being offered a summer research internship at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Charlottesville, Virginia, where I will be looking at the polarization of radio galaxies,” she says. “With the support of this grant, I was able to spend my time doing something I actually enjoy and want to pursue in the future as a career.”
