Why support?
We are grateful to all of our alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff, and corporate and foundation partners who enhance the mission of our College through their generosity. The College’s continued success will be defined by its ability to empower students, attract and retain exceptional faculty, and strengthen its role as a leader in serving communities while setting a standard of excellence among peer institutions in an increasingly competitive landscape. To ensure this bright future, the College invites your support of the following priorities:

Expanding Academic Excellence
Broaden Our Impact, Enhance Student Achievement, Foster an Inclusive Culture
The College is advancing scholarly excellence through expanded support for faculty and student research, including enhancements to the Dean’s Summer Faculty Research Program, the Hope and Heritage initiative, and new opportunities for undergraduate and graduate research. These efforts promote interdisciplinary collaboration, high-impact scholarship, and faculty visibility.. By investing in faculty-led research and student engagement, the College strengthens its role as a hub of innovation, mentorship, and inclusive academic excellence.

Advancing the Arts on Campus
Broaden Our Impact and Foster an Inclusive Culture
In the Spring 2026, a new building dedicated to the arts on campus will open its doors. The enhancements will provide students and faculty with the opportunity to create, collaborate, and present their work in a state of the art facility. Support for the building as well as support for the evolving needs of the academic departments is essential to foster vibrant spaces and high-quality artistic experiences. Through this initiative the College strengthens its commitment to academic and cultural excellence and deepens its impact on the broader community.

Innovative and Distinctive Programs
Broaden Our Impact, Enhance Student Achievement, Power the University of the Future
The College is committed to advancing innovative, distinctive, and sustainable academic programs that connect the humanities with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and quantum computing. Near-term priorities include developing AI-focused curricula and launching a Quantum Humanities Network to promote interdisciplinary collaboration, with a long-term goal of establishing a dedicated professorship in humanities and technology integration. These initiatives provide students with forward-thinking learning experiences, foster creativity and collaboration, and strengthen community engagement through partnerships and public initiatives.

Empowering Student Success Through Experience
Broaden Our Impact and Foster an Inclusive Culture
The College is dedicated to enriching student learning through experiential opportunities that promote academic growth, career readiness, and global engagement. Through initiatives such as the Internship Fund, A&S Fellows Fund, and Global Opportunities, students gain equitable access to internships, research, creative projects, and international experiences. These programs cultivate innovation, strengthen community partnerships, and empower students to apply their learning in real-world contexts, expanding the impact of the College beyond campus.
