The Office for the Advancement of Teaching & Learning (ATL) is pleased to announce the inaugural members of the Faculty Leaders Program. This program is designed to give faculty members the opportunity to serve in a leadership role, working collaboratively with ATL staff, to both advance their professional development and support the advancement of faculty and graduate student instructors across the university.
Faculty Leaders will serve for 2 years, devoting a portion of their time to working with faculty, graduate student instructors, and ATL staff developing professional development resources and delivering workshops within the context of a project scope that aligns with their area of expertise. The Faculty Leaders are eligible for an academic year stipend and additional remuneration is also provided to the selected faculty member’s home department and/or college to cover up to 2 per course instructors per year, as needed, to support a decreased teaching load during the appointment period.
