The Center for Career and Experiential Education supports experiential learning through internships which help prepare University of Rhode Island students and alumni for permanent employment.
Students from all disciplines — business, engineering, health, arts and sciences, technology, and many other fields — have a reputation for their talent, knowledge and willingness to put their skills and education to work.
Companies such as IGT, Applied Radar, Davol, Toray, FM Global, Fidelity, Raytheon and others have regularly benefitted from providing internships and full-time career opportunities to URI students and alumni. Working with the resources the Center for Career and Experiential Education, the BEC can help identify your specific internship and employment needs and provide you with the workforce you need.
The Center’s staff are available to help you post jobs and internships to the University’s career management system, RhodyNet. The Center also hosts regular career fairs and events so that you can connect with URI students and alumni.
Entrepreneurs and start-up companies looking to access URI talent can also utilize the resources of the URI Start-Up Program/Accelerator/Resource Center (SPARC).
