Biography

Ziyue Jiao is a Chinese Lecturer in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Rhode Island, where she teaches Chinese language courses at all levels. Before coming to URI, Ziyue Jiao taught at several liberal arts colleges, including Williams College, Vassar College, and the Middlebury Chinese Summer School. Ziyue has also taught at Duke University and Brown University, offering both Chinese language and Chinese literature courses. Drawing on years of experience, she is committed to supporting students’ language growth and helping them connect more deeply with Chinese culture. Her goal at URI is to help build a vibrant and welcoming learning community for all Chinese language students.
