What is your responsibility as a 2017 URI Energy Fellow (i.e. what team are you on/where are you working)?
I am an intern at Rhode Island Commerce Corporation for the Renewable Energy Fund, which provides grants and loans for renewable energy projects in Rhode Island. I am looking forward to being able to process an application, and seeing a project from the beginning to its completion! The most rewarding part of my job is definitely being a part of the implementation of so many renewable energy projects throughout Rhode Island. I also enjoy educating Rhode Island residents about incentive programs they did not know existed, and hopefully inspire them to utilize the programs this state has to offer!
