Please submit the form to notify our volunteers of your request, at least a month in advance of the event.

We request that all organizations are willing to distribute our anonymous impact survey to workshop participants and submit requests at least a month in advance. As a volunteer program, we reserve the ability to prioritize requests according to our criteria and capacity.
Organizations should complete this form using either a Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser. Please note that the requesting organization must have the ability to host virtual presentations using video conferencing technology if requesting a virtual presentation. Once the request is submitted, an automatic confirmation email will be sent acknowledging the submission. If you do not receive a confirmation notice within a short period of time or need help please contact us at 401-874-2900.

What is the URI Master Gardener Program’s educational workshop service?
A group of trained URI Master Gardener volunteer educators serve as presenters. These individuals are available to speak at libraries, civic organizations, businesses and to other groups on a variety of science-based gardening and environmental topics. All workshops taught by URI Master Gardeners must be offered free of charge to participants.
Who will be my speaker?
All public presentation educators are certified URI Master Gardener volunteer with advanced knowledge and interest in the topics offered through the service. We are happy to provide a brief bio for each educator in advance for use in publicizing the presentation.
How much do you charge per presentation?
Presentations by URI Master Gardener volunteers are free. An optional donation of $100 per presentation is appreciated for deposit into our endowment account, which ensures the vitality of the URI Master Gardener Program’s public education programming into the future.
How do I make a donation to the URI Master Gardener Program Educational Endowment?
