Biography

As a researcher with CRC’s international team across multiple projects, Lauren lends expertise in social-ecological systems, fisheries science and management, and the human dimensions of coastal management. Her professional interests are in working to help coastal communities build resilience and protect their connections to the ocean environment and its resources. Lauren earned a BS in marine biology from Northeastern University as an alum of the Three Seas Program and an interdisciplinary MS with the Humphries Lab at the University of Rhode Island focused on the human dimensions of shoreline management in New England.
