The Coastal Resources Center in the Graduate School of Oceanography at the University of Rhode Island is recruiting for a Postdoctoral Fellow in International Fisheries and Management. The postdoctoral associate will be responsible for producing a set of country level briefs for USAID Missions that includes analysis of the ecological and socio-economic impacts of distant water fleets (DWFs). Other products from this research include peer-reviewed manuscripts, white papers, and policy briefs. Overall, the postdoctoral research associate, will contribute to studies of the drivers and impacts of DWFs on national fisheries and fisherfolk in select geographies worldwide.
