It is with great pleasure and excitement that the office of Community, Equity and Diversity announces its mini-grants initiative.
The purpose of mini-grants is to assist students, faculty, and staff with funding for future programming. In keeping with the core values of CED, it is the hope of our office to fund programs and initiatives that echo our mission to create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community.
Programs available for funding may include inviting a speaker to campus or hosting an event for a student organization. Proposals funded through CED can be awarded up to $1,000. Proposals that will stand out are those grounded in furthering knowledge and commitment to social justice and touch upon multiple aspects of CED’s core values. Preference will also be given to proposals grounded in collaborative efforts with multiple people and organizations.
Participants are encouraged to submit proposals one semester in advance to allow for a thorough review by the committee and proper allocation of funds. The review process will be conducted by a committee of individuals including student leaders, faculty, and staff throughout campus.
