SJ&I Microcredential Module 2: Understanding Social Identity, Power, and Privilege

This module presents and discusses the many ways social identity, power, and privilege shape the lived experiences of most social groups. This module will allow participants to 1) explore the concept of social identity and its three processes; 2) define the systems of power, privilege, and oppression and the ways that binary thinking reinforces each; and 3) apply the lessons learned to anti-oppressive practice.
