Representatives from Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories and Robinson Electrical demonstrated Software Defined Networking capabilites available in their SEL-2740S switches. The demonstration showed how networking flows can be determined by a trusted administrator and how this technology improves security. They were also able to tour the new lab space that has been established in the Engineering Building at the Kingston campus of URI.
