Stephanie Fitzpatrick received a B.S. degree in Ocean Engineering and a minor in Physics from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, RI in 2013. Since graduating, she has been working for Navatek, a naval architecture and marine engineering firm based out of Honolulu, HI. There, she has focused in developing and documenting Navatek’s in house hydromechanics and hydrodynamics softwares. She is now pursuing a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. Her current areas of research include cyber-physical security of smart micro grids.
