Biography
Lisa Rodier (she/her) is an alumna of the University of Rhode Island and subsequently earned an MBA from Boston University. As an undergrad at URI, Lisa was a member of the URI crew club, which although she didn’t realize at the time, turned out to be a life-changing experience. Lisa has worked in both corporate and small business environments, and after a career in marketing and communications, including sports PR and freelance writing, she became re-engaged as an alumni volunteer with the crew club. She soon discovered that she enjoyed working with college students, particularly helping them navigate paths to success inside and outside the classroom, and has been involved with the Office of Academic Progress and Student Support team since 2020. For the past four years, Lisa shared her now retired therapy dog, Atle, a Bouvier des Flandres, with the URI community. Lisa and her husband, Chris, also a URI alum, enjoy cycling, rowing, hiking, and traveling together. Lisa also plays pickleball in her spare time.
