Biography

Tanadej (Pete) Vechsuruck received his PhD in Economics from the University of Utah. His dissertation, titled “Essays on Keynesian Business Cycles,” analyzes the relationship between income distribution  and the demand regime in macroeconomies. The main chapter empirically examines the characteristics of the business cycle caused by interactions between functional income distribution and aggregate demand. His research and teaching interests include applied macroeconomics, development economics, international economics, and history of economic thought.
