Pete Vechsuruck

Biography

Tanadej “Pete” Vechsuruck’s research focuses on international economics, macroeconomics, development economics, and the history of economic thought. His recent research explores the economic development of Southeast Asia before and after the rise of China. In particular, he investigates how China’s rise has shaped the trajectories of industrialization, inequality, and economic well-being in Southeast Asia.
