The purpose of this project is to identify the quantity of ADA compliant voting equipment required to ensure no voters wait more than 30 minutes, on average, to vote.
Using data collected from actual elections and demographics reported by the U.S. Census Bureau, along with advanced engineering and statistical methods, we will indicate whether current recommendations are sufficient and, if not, provide scenarios in which more ADA voting machines would be required based on varying voter turnout (ranging from 100 to 10,000 voters).
