Seeking a cure

As part of the national Ice Bucket Challenge, two University of Rhode Island deans and one mechanical engineering professor spent a sunny August afternoon being doused with ice water. Engineering Dean Raymond Wright and Arts & Sciences Dean Winifred Brownell took part in the challenge that seeks to raise money to support finding a cure for ALS. URI President David M. Dooley had challenged all the deans to take part.

Also participating was mechanical engineering Professor Bahram Nassersharif. He too had been challenged by the president and was happy to comply.

The professor and the deans challenged Provost Donald DeHayes and his staff to take part as well.
