Samantha Kipper, ’26

Samantha Kipper, of Huntington Beach, California, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in ocean engineering and minor in sustainability before pursuing graduate studies.

Daniel Meola, ’26

Daniel Meola is a chemical engineering and global language and area studies major with a concentration in Japanese through the international engineering program. He is currently studying abroad in Japan.

Sophie Plante, ’26

Sophie Plante is set to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering and minors in biological sciences and mathematics and is highly involved with Greek life.

Nathan Field, ’26

Nathan was a student athlete as an undergrad and a civil engineering major who earned multiple athletic awards, dean’s list, and secured a full time position following graduation.

Katie Aaronson, ’26

Katie earned bachelor’s degrees in ocean engineering and Spanish, and earned an accelerated bachelor’s the master’s scholarship to continue her studies.

Michaella Junge, ’26

Michaella Junge graduated with undergraduate degrees in chemical engineering and German and will pursue her master’s in Germany.

Kaitlyn Fucillo, ’25

Kaitlyn Fucillo graduated with degrees in ocean engineering and marine biology.

Carlos Fragoso Uriarte, ’25

Carlos Fragoso Uriarte graduated with bachelors degrees in chemical engineering and Italian and will pursue a Ph.D. in chemical engineering.

Joseph Confessore, ’25

Joseph continued his studies on a pre-med track with the hope of enrolling to a medical school.

Malinda Fry, B.S. ’24

A member of URI’s Multicultural Scholar Program, Native American Student Organization and the Institute of Industrial and System Engineers. Fry then pursued a master’s degree in systems engineering from URI.

Anna Cetera B.S. ’24

Anna earned both a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a B.A. in Spanish through IEP. She spent a year abroad in Santander, Spain. She then pursued an M.S. at URI, and earned a master’s thesis academic excellence award for her research.

Jesse Duroha, Ph.D. ’23

After earning his Ph.D. in industrial and systems engineering, Jesse became a post-doctoral fellow and lead researcher for a team of interdisciplinary of energy experts.

Kevin Suggs B.S. ’23

Kevin is currently a computer engineer at Naval Underwater Warfare Center in Newport, RI

Heather DiFazio, B.S. ’23

Following graduation, the International Engineering Program alum continued her biomedical research in Switzerland on a Fulbright grant.

Ray Turrisi B.S. ’22

As a Phi Kappa Phi Fellow, Ray is pursuing a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering and applied ocean physics and engineering at MIT and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institutes Joint Program.
