The Providence Business News named Assistant Professor Kunal Mankodiya to its 2017 40 Under Forty list.
The honor recognizes individuals who are under the ago of 40, have excelled in their chosen profession and are involved in their communities.
“We’re very proud of the research that Professor Mankodiya and his students conduct in URI’s Wearable Biosensing Lab,” said URI College of Engineering Dean Raymond Wright. “Their work on wearable devices and prosthetic limbs transforms people’s lives. This recognition is well-deserved.”
Mankodiya was presented the award at an event at Aldrich Mansion in Warwick.
“This recognition is the reflection of students’ hard work and dedication to serve mankind with engineering solutions designed at the Wearable Biosensing Lab at URI,” said Mankodiya.
