STEM Seminar Series Provides Insight Into Naval-Related Careers

UConn and URI students learned about Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport’s cutting-edge programs during a tour.

Enrollment for the Navy STEM seminar series is open for undergraduate and graduate engineering students at URI for the spring semester.

There are no prerequisites for this one-credit course (EGR201), which will provide insight into naval-related careers. Speakers will present topics addressing current issues and technical challenges.

The seminars will be held on Wednesdays, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. from Jan. 26 to April 27.
