The URI chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers recently attended the SHPE National Convention at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
The students participated in educational workshops, interviewed with some of the most prestigious companies in the country and attended networking events. Some of the students received job offers from companies.
With more than 9,000 people in attendance, the SHPE National Convention is the largest gathering of Hispanics in STEM every year.
