Students in Professor K Wayne Lee’s Highway Engineering Laboratory course visited D’Ambra Construction Company’s asphalt plant to learn about their operations.

The course covers topics such as soil resilient modulus, aggregates toughness, rheological properties of asphalt binder, superpave asphalt mix-design, material input parameters for pavement design, and pavement evaluation.
