Joe Goodwill, assistant professor of civil and environmental engineering at URI, brought the students in his lab to the New England Water Environment Association Annual Conference & Exhibit at the Boston Marriott Copley Place in Boston.

Nick Thompson won first place in the undergraduate poster competition.

Nick’s poster described his research on improving Narragansett Bay by limiting aluminum and phosphate from wastewater treatment plants.
