Laura Marie Marciano

Biography

Laura Marie Marciano is a poet, performer, educator and media artist. She is the author of the poetry collection Mall Brat (CCM, 2016) and curates an experiential, interdisciplinary poetry event with Artbook at MoMA Ps1. Laura is the founder of gemstone readings, a collective that produces video and visual media for queer and female-identified poets. She is also a managing editor for Barrow Street Press. Laura received her MFA from Brooklyn College and is a PhD candidate at the University of Rhode Island completing a creative dissertation. She lives in Providence and New York City.
