Biography

Doug Michael joined URI’s Facilities Operations Department early in 2007. Formerly, he worked for a global outsource management company, serving as Custodial Manager of the Providence School Department, and in equivalent positions in secondary and higher ed in St. Louis, Philadelphia and The Bronx. For seventeen years, he served as sole marketing and revenue manager for First Night Providence. He holds a BA and MBA in economics from the University of Florida.Doug joins a truly professional, dedicated and diligent team of Building Superintendents and housekeepers who provide cleaning and other essential, quality-of-life services to the University.
