Biography

Alexandra works within the Diving Research & Safety Program as the Associate Diving Safety Officer and the FAVS department as an Associate Teaching Professor. She has professional experience supporting scuba diving programs at educational institutions, non-profits, small businesses, and large corporation’s scuba diving programs. These programs range from focusing on coastal ecology and research diving, to animal husbandry and commercial diving, as well as leadership skills and recreational dive training. Her broad background in several different disciplines of scuba diving and overall watermanship skills are shared with students throughout training in the classroom and field. Alexandra’s primary focus is to provide an attainable and affordable pathway for students to become recreational scuba divers while also providing services to support research diving at the University.
