Undergraduate Research Symposium on Europe and Eurasia
Undergraduate students from all majors and institutions who have written a research paper from a social science, humanities, or business perspective focusing on the study of Eastern, Western, or Central Europe, the European Union, Russia, or Central Eurasia are invited to participate at an Undergraduate Research Symposium hosted by the University of Pittsburgh.

NCIS Internship Program
This is an opportunity for students to be able to work with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service in one of their several field offices around the country. Not all opportunities may be in person, but that will depend on the internship. These are eighteen-week internships that run both from January to July and then July to December. There are several different internships that can be applied for that vary with their opportunities and responsibilities that are also centered towards different majors. While the internship is open to all majors, there are specific focuses for criminal justice and criminology majors, but also those interested in accounting, business, communication studies, computer science, finance, graphic design, marketing, psychology, sociology, and women’s studies.
International Affairs Junior Fellowship
The International Affairs Junior Fellowship gives college graduates the opportunity to shape international economy policy on behalf on the United States. They get exposed to the world of international economy and important players such as IMF and the World Bank.
Internships with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
The NGA Student Internship offers students the opportunities for real-world professional experience. The work assigned to students is professional in nature and is conducted in a learning environment that provides each student real-world experience and an opportunity to be evaluated for potential long-term employment.
Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL) Public Service Internships & Scholarships
CAPAL seeks to empower Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) young professionals by increasing access to public service opportunities and building a strong AANHPI public service pipeline. CAPAL’s Public Service Internship Program places undergraduate and graduate students within the public sector in the Washington, DC area and throughout the United States.
Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals
The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX) is a fellowship funded by the German Bundestag and State Department. It annually provides 75 American and 75 German young professionals between the ages of 18½–24 the opportunity to spend one year in each other’s countries studying, interning, and living with hosts.
CSCE Fellowships with a Policy or Communications Focus
The Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe seeks candidates for its Max Kampelman Fellowship program. The program is open to students with previous internship experience. Fellows work in political and military affairs, economic and environmental matters, or respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.
