Coming to the GWC

Kingston Campus, 250 Pastore Hall: Based on student feedback, the university granted us new LARGER space for the GWC! You’ll love our new spacious digs with air filters, windows, and big screens: 250 Pastore Hall (51 Lower College Rd, Kingston, across from Memorial Union).

Bay Campus, 120 OSEC Building – For GSO students (or any grad student who wants to visit URI’s stunning campus overlooking Narragansett Bay), the GWC will be holding office hours in the Ocean Science and Exploration Center (OSEC Building), Room 120 (Academic Affairs Office), 15 Pier Road,
Narragansett, in the administration wing. Come meet with Katie and Anna, GSO Ph.D. students and trained peer writing consultants, for help with your writing projects.

We strongly encourage students to make appointments well in advance as our time slots fill up quickly. Make your appointment here or check our hours here. See the instructions below for help making appointments!

Not only was this session helpful to strengthen my abstract, but it was also great to discuss my thesis more in depth and think about it in ways that I hadn't previously.
