Program Guidelines
The purpose of the GSA Student Conference Reimbursement Program is to encourage academic excellence by URI graduate students, by providing financial assistance for participation in short-term academic events as part of their research within their field of study. Academic events may include conferences, workshops or training seminars. Additional incentives are provided to those that present their academic work at such events.

Following Application
After completing the form above, a follow-up email is required to be sent to gsa@etal.uri.edu, to ensure that your application will be read by the GSA. Please write the email subject line as Conference Reimbursement.
Please note that the GSA Executive Council has the right to take the final approval decision over reimbursement requests. In the event, that GSA receives an overwhelming number of reimbursement requests, priority will be given to the applicants who are applying to get reimbursed for a conference presentation.
