On behalf of the organizing committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the URI Graduate Student Conference 2025 (Gradcon 2025) hosted by the University of Rhode Island, Kingston, Rhode Island. The URI Graduate Conference began in 2007 with a small group of graduate students from the URI English Department. Since 2007, URI Gradcon has totaled over 500 students including those from universities and colleges all over the nation—and world. With a rich history of showcasing innovative research projects, this conference continues to serve as a platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners to exchange ideas, present innovative findings, and foster collaborations in a wide range of topics.
This year’s theme, “Interdisciplinary Collaborations: Breaking Boundaries,” reflects the evolving challenges and opportunities across all fields. The conference program is thoughtfully designed to feature:
