The Graduate Student Association of the University of Rhode Island, Kinston, Rhode Island is
pleased to present to you the 2026 Graduate Student Conference. This year’s conference which
happens to be the 15th student conference meeting is a two-day event dedicated to celebrating
the scholarly achievements and research excellence of URI graduate students happening on
Friday, March 27th, and Saturday, March 28th.
The theme for this year’s conference, “Many Paths, One Purpose: Researching for a Better
Future,” reflects the diverse intellectual approaches pursued across disciplines. This annual
event has a rich history of showcasing innovative research ideas and projects and this year’s is
no exception. The conference provides a formal platform for oral and poster presentation of
innovative research, interdisciplinary dialogue, and professional engagement. Keynote and oral
presentations will be hosted by special guests and students alike; we hope to see you there!
The Graduate Student Conference affirms the University’s commitment to fostering academic
excellence, supporting emerging scholars, and promoting research that addresses local,
national, and global challenges.
