The Harrington School, in partnership with URI Athletics, provides the opportunity for students to produce, crew, and cast sports games on ESPN+. Our team broadcasts men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, and softball.
Open to all majors, you can get hands-on experience in everything broadcast sports. Positions include technical roles such as producer, director, technical director, audio, replay, graphics, and camera operator—or announcing positions such as a play-by-play, color analyst, and sideline reporter. Join the crew by taking FLM 220 with staff expert Dave Walzer or volunteering for crew positions on an informal basis.
