My name is John-nae Sylvia and I am a Junior Psychology + Criminology and Criminal Justice Major with a Sociology Minor. I aspire to be either a Forensic or Criminal Psychologist. Learning about juveniles and marginalized communities within the criminal justice system is an area I want to continue to learn about.

I enjoy listening to music, laughing with friends, reading books, and watching thrillers and interesting documentaries. I am also involved on campus with P.I.N.K. Women, College of Arts & Sciences Equity & Anti-Racism Committee, Alpha Phi Sigma and Psi Chi. 

I was interested in becoming an Honors Ambassador after hearing about it during an early registration session this semester. I got more insight about it after speaking with an old professor of mine and looking at the Honors Ambassadors website and I thought it was a great way to be connected on campus.
