Hi, my name is Kayla Owens, and I am a sophomore at URI! I am majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Leadership Studies. I am from Seekonk, MA, which is right on the Rhode Island border. I plan to teach fourth or fifth grade one day and then move into administration. At URI, I am also a member of Alpha Xi Delta and love to take fitness classes in the gym (especially cycling!)  In my free time, I love hanging out with friends and family, reading, and going to the beach.
